R. J.⁷ MAXFIELD was born at Richfield, Genesee County, Michigan, on 26 August 1872 a son of Elhanan Maxfield and his wife Mary Worth. He died at Richfield on 11 March 1946. He married at Genesee County on 13 October 1892 ISABELLA S. MUNGER. She was born at Genesee County on August 1873 and died at Flint, Genesee County, on 10 April 1945.

R. J. Maxfield nad his wife Isabelle Munger had the following children:

1. HAZEL F.⁸ MAXFIELD b. at Richfield Center, Richfield, on 12 January 1893; d. at Genesee Co. on 24 July 1972; m. at Flint on 11 March 1915 BERT SIMMONS.
2. MARGARET A.⁸ MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 3 March 1894; d. on 10 September 1979; m. at Davison, Genesee Co., on 24 January 1912 JESSE L. SELLECK.
3. EDNA MARY⁸ MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 20 March 1896; m. at Flint on 10 October 1912 HENRY WALLACE SELLECK.
4. OLIVE M.⁸ MAXFIELD b. at Genesee Co. on 19 August 1907; m. at Steuben Co., IN, on 11 July 1934 EARL CLAY.
