ELHANAN W.6 MAXFIELD was born at New York on 19 September 1833 a son of Varnis Maxfield and his wife Percey Irish. He died at Richfield, Genesee County, Michigan, on 3 February 1884. He married at Genesee County on 22 November 1857 MARY E. WORTH. She was born at Oakland County, Michigan, about 1841. She married second at Richfield on 13 May 1886 LEONARD SPRAGUE

Elhanan Maxfield and his wife Mary Worth had the following children:

  1. JARED F.7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield abt. November 1859.
  2. NORMAN7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 5 February 1862.
  3. EDNA V.7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 29 September 1863; d. at Richfield on 14 April 1892; m. at Genesee Co. on 22 December 1883 LEWIS LANE.
  4. R. J.7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 26 August 1872.
