Sarah and Henry Lucas were daughter and son-in-law to Charles and Eliza Maxfield.

"Elizabeth" Maxfield died at 465 Fifth Street, New Bedford, on 4 May 1869, age 63 years and 4 months, from consumption (VR Ma 220:126:167). Charles P. Maxfield appeared in the 1870 Census at New Bedford with his newly married son Nathan. Charles P. Maxfield was reported in the 1880 Census (1212:111B) at 281 Broadway, Providence, Rhode Island, in the household of his son-in-law Theodore Barton:

Eliza Barton was the daughter of Charles P. Maxfield. Chas. Maxfield, age 12, was a grandson of Charles P. Maxfield, son of Nathan Maxfield.
