JOHN B.6 MAXFIELD, Jr. was born at Vermont on March 1841 a son of John B. Maxfield and his wife Amanda Barker. He died after 1900. He married at Hardin, Clayton County, Iowa, on 2 April 1868 SARAH JANE INGALLS. She was born at Quebec on 26 July 1845 and died at Iowa on 14 October 1881.

John B. Maxfield, Jr., and his wife Sarah Ingalls had the following child:

  1. HERBERT NATHAN7 MAXFIELD b. at Monona, Clayton Co., IA, on 7 October 1868.
