J. BLANCHEe MARTIN (Francisd, Albertc, Mary Gochenauerb, Johna) was born at Providence Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on 9 July 1905, a child of Francis Martin and his wife Flora May Adams.

Blanche graduated from Quarryville High School, Millersville Normal School, and Elizabethtown College. She taught second grade in a one room school in East Drumore Township. She joined Saint Paul's Reformed Church in 1923, and remained an active member all her life, singing in the choir for forty years. (The Church later became Evangelical and Reformed, then United Church of Christ).

Blanche Martin married JAY M. ESHLEMAN, who was born on 26 August 1904, and died on 26 April 1988. He was buried at Quarryville Cemetery, Quarryville, Pennsylvania, on 2 May 1988. Blanche died at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, Quarryville, on 25 August 2000, and was buried at Quarryville Cemetery on 28 August.
