IDA MARYd MARTIN (Albertc, Mary Gochenauerb, Johna) was born in Pennsylvania on 7 March 1885, a child of Albert Martin and his wife Elizabeth K. Groff.

Ida married CLEMENT A. REESE, who was born in Pennsylvania on 17 November 1881. According to the 1930 census, she was 19, he 22, at marriage, which would place it about 1904. The Reeses lived in Bareville, Pennsylvania.

The 1930 census (2058:1A) reported the Clement Reese family at 20 Railroad Avenue, New Holland, Pennsylvania, as follows:

Ida Martin Reese died on 13 June 1957. Clement died a few days later, 17 June 1957.

Sara R. Adams, 83, hospital nurse
Sara R. Adams, 83, of 829 E. Madison St., died Sunday at Ephrata Community Hospital of natural causes.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Adams had worked at Lancaster General Hospital and did private duty nursing.
She graduated from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
Born in Millersville, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Ida Martin Reese.
She was married to William A. Adams Jr. for 58 years in June.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, William A. III, husband of Pamela A. Adams of Millersville; a daughter, Sallie A. Flinchbaugh of Leola; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lee W., husband of Jane Reese of Ephrata.
Two brothers, Paul Reese and Martin Reese, and a sister, Dorothy Ramsbottom, died before her.

William A. Adams Jr., played football
William A. Adams Jr., 87, of 829 E. Madison St., died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at Lancaster General Hospital. He had been under a doctor's care. Since February, he had been a resident of Clare Bridge in East Petersburg.
A letter carrier for the Lancaster post office since 1955, he retired in 1981. Prior to that, from 1942-55, he was a licensed funeral director for several Lancaster city funeral homes.
A veteran of World War II, he worked as a surgical technician for the U.S. Army in Edgewood Arsenal, Md.
He was a graduate of Lancaster Boys High School and Augusta Military Academy in Staunton, Va. He was also a 1936 graduate of the Eckel's School of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia.
He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Between 1929 and 1931, he played football for the West End Gray Ghosts, Lancaster's semiprofessional football team.
He was the husband of Sara Reese Adams, who died in December.
Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late William A. and Daisy Mehaffey Adams.
Surviving are a daughter, Sallie A. Flinchbaugh of Leola; a son, William A. III, married to Pamela A. Adams of Millersville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel, married to Ruth Adams of Newark, Ohio, and Joseph of Lancaster; and a sister Nancy Adams of Willow Street. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Robert and Richard, and six sisters, Ethel Adams, Margaret Fellman, Dorothy Shenk, Elizabeth Hoff, Ruth Marrow and Nellie Tragesser.
