John Lezenby served in the Army during World War I, from 2 July 1917 to 4 June 1919 (BIRLS)

The 1920 census (1027:4B) reported John Wallace with his mother's brother at 4 North Boulevard, Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey:

John Wallace Lezenby married AGNES BROOKS probably some time in 1920, after the census on 1 January. Agnes was born at New Jersey on 3 December 1899, a child of Alfred J. Brooks and Carrie Bassett.

Agnes Brooks Lezenby died on March 1985, a resident of Estero, Lee County, Florida (SSDI). John Wallace died on 2 May 1988 a resident of Pennsville, Salem County, New Jersey (SSDI).

John Wallace Lezenby and his wife Agnes Brooks had the following children:
