RICHARD3 LEZENBY (Samuel2,Cornelius1) was born at New Jersey on October 1867 (1900 census), a child of Samuel W. Lezenby and his wife Anna Letitia Dodd. He was raised by his widowed mother in Camden, New Jersey.

Richard Lezenby married ANNA REMINE (or Romine) about 1896 (1900, 1910 censuses). Anna was born at New Jersey on September 1876 (1900 census). The 1900 census (957:8B) reported the young couple living with her parents at Riverton, Burlington County, New Jersey:

This record also listed four boarders. It indicated that Joseph and Sarah had been married 30 years, and Sarah had six children, two living. Richard and Anna had been married four years, and Anna had two children, both living.

The 1910 census (872:9A) reported the three generation household at 406 Howard Street, Riverton, New Jersey:

This record also indicated that Sarah Remine had six children, two of whom were living, and Richard and Anna had been married 13 years, and Anna had three children, all living.

The household also included one boarder. It would appear that Anna's sister Sarah had married Joseph Borden, had three children, and she died.

According to this census, Richard and Anna were married when he was 24 and she was 30, which doesn't compute. Richard Lezenby and his wife Anna Remine had the following children:
