Annie Marie Shaubach Harnish

JACOB S.6 HARNISH (John5, Abraham4, Michael3, John Jacob2, Martin1) was born in 1857 to John Harnish and his wife Elizabeth K. Schopf. He married on 20 January 1881 ANNIE MARIE2 SHAUBACH (Andrew1), daughter of Andrew Shaubach and his wife Christiann Wirth. Annie was born on 17 January 1861.

Jacob and Annie farmed in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on the farm that had belonged to his father, on what is now Hans Herr Drive.

Jacob and Annie Harnish died in the flu epidemic of 1919. Their daughter Maude handled the funeral arrangements, though she was expecting at the time. Jacob died on 27 March 1919. Annie died four days later, on 31 March 1919. They were both buried at Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery, West Lampeter Township.
